I bought the 67 Fastback S Cuda from the original owner about six years ago. It came with the 273 Commando engine. It was in pretty rough shape when I bought it. He did have the original window sticker and a original sales brochure from the dealer! The paint is the GG2 dark metallic green. the options he picked out on the order slip: S package, buckets with console, decor interior package which included woodgrain on the dash and door panels and 150 spedometer, and simulated wood steering wheel! The center of the rallye dash was a black out but I found a performance vacumn guage and I am looking for the optional tach!!! A friend of mine did the upholstery in 69 ford mustang gold ( there are not alot of gold options! ) I found a set of used door panels at the junk yard and dyed them gold to match. The 273 started burning oil at 200,000 miles and is on a stand waiting for the funds to compleatly restore. As for now I have a 72 318 with 10:1 pistions and a cam ground for a 340. I replaced the original 4 barrel single plane manifold with a edelbrock performer. I have also replaced the original AFB , the throttle bushing wore out, with a new 650 cfm AFB. Ignition is now a Mopar electronic distributor because I wasn't able to find anyone to rebuild the dual point it came with. The distributor is powered by a Mallory Hyfire unit. I've upgraded the front brakes to disk from a 72 Dart. They are the four pistion type and still are the 5 on 4 bolt pattern. I have a compleate 8 3/4 Sure Grip 741 case 3:55 all ready to go in in a couple of weeks. It is my daily driver and gives me hours of fun driving!!!! I have kept all the original parts that have been replaced but I do have some extra misc. parts I've picked up along the way. Email me at rsplav@unlimited.net if some one is looking for something!
